I guess the best place to begin my story is back in 1989 when I married the love of my life. However, both Guy and I had more lessons to learn and we continued life's journey apart just two short years later. God had a plan for us but we were just too stubborn or selfish or shortsighted to realize what we had and we let it slip away. But as life would have it, we reconnected 19 years later and were given a second chance at love! Because we were the best of friends and knew how to play well together, we decided to buy an RV and travel the countryside during the summer of 2010. It was a great leap of faith for both of us to venture out for 6 weeks in a 34 foot RV as we decided to test the waters between us. After all, there was no place to run, no place to hide! But what did happen between us was mystical and magical in every sense of the word. We re-ignited our love affair and began a journey that would find us longing to be on the open road exploring new territory in the RV we so lovingly named Rhonda. Over the next three years we continued our adventures on the open road covering over 35,000 miles and making fabulous memories that we only dreamt could exist. We had come full circle as a couple and on a beautiful fall day in 2012 on a mountain top in The White Mountains of New Hampshire, Guy got down on one knee and I said yes! "And in this crazy life, and through these crazy times....It's you, it's you, you make me sing. you're every line, you're every word, you're everything" Those words of Michael Buble seemed to resonate with such clarity through us and before we knew it we were planning our March 2nd wedding.

An afternoon reception
A mountain top celebration!
Our initial plan was actually supposed to be more of an alopement. But the plans seemed to take on a life of it's own and turned into a 3 day event that was truly spectacular. Snowshoeing, sledding, X-C skiing, sleigh rides and mountain hikes with fresh fallen snow made for a scene from Currier and Ives. We were truly blessed to have so many close friends and family together to witness our loving words and commitment to one another. However, not all family could attend the wedding so we decided to have a celebration on the beach in Florida at the end of April to include our Florida families and friends. Spending 11 days at our beach condo in Indian Harbor was very relaxing as we soaked up the vitamin D, something us New Englanders seem to always be lacking. Campfires on the beach, a 5K run, wish lanterns sent up to the heavens, exotic shells thrown into the ocean as good luck wishes for the newlyweds and of course dancing with the sounds of the DJ into the night were a few of the highlights of the celebration. But the coming together of families and friends and loved ones who shared and support the joining of our lives touched our hearts in such a meaningful way and we will forever be grateful for being surrounded in such love.
As the grains of sand are poured together, never again to be separated
